On September 7th 2015, Fasha (Farshad) Mahjoor, CEO of Phenomenex and Neoteryx, will once again attempt to break world records while raising money for a great cause, The Outward Bound Trust!
After leaping from over 1,000 feet off of the Shard skyscraper in 2012, this September, Fasha will abseil/rappel not one, but three, of London’s most iconic buildings, known as The Gherkin, The Cheesegrater, and The Walkie-Talkie, to raise a minimum of £100,000/$155,360.00 for The Outward Bound Trust. “These three skyscrapers command a combined 1,916 vertical feet, and the abseil will set the new world record as the longest civilian abseil in history”.
It is incredibly important to Fasha to support this wonderful organization that works primarily with disadvantaged young people with low aspirations from inner-city areas, helping them to see the great things they are capable of achieving in their lifetimes. This is a mission he is very passionate about, as he has personally witnessed how the program has changed the lives of so many young people, giving hope and a road map for a bright future.
